Hot air temperature in spray drying equipment
In spray drying equipment, hot air temperature is a very important parameter. It refers to the temperature at which hot air used for drying enters the tower. Generally, the higher the temperature, the better, because the economic efficiency will be improved. However, the hot air temperature can not be infinitely high, because if it is too high, it will bring bad effects, such as making the quality of the dried product worse. Therefore, if you want to increase its temperature, you should first ensure that the quality of the product can be guaranteed, and then increase it appropriately.
The hot air temperature of the spray drying equipment mainly affects the bulk density of the dried product and the evaporation intensity of the drying room. If the food is dried, the temperature should generally not exceed 177°C to avoid hollow particles in the product. However, if it is a non-thermosensitive material, high-temperature hot air should be used as much as possible so as to increase the evaporation intensity.
